The Italian protagonism in the space race and the new frontiers of universe exploration are narrated through the projects and ambitions of adults and the imagination of children. "A Step from the Moon: An Experience of Italian and European Leadership" is the title of the short film to be presented by The Skill Group at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, marking 60 years since the launch of "San Marco 1," the third satellite sent into space, launched by Italy. In the docufilm, the dreams of students from several Venetian schools are combined with a detailed description of ambitious space projects that are taking shape thanks to the ingenuity and efforts of adults. Italy is at the forefront of upcoming missions that will bring humans back to the Moon and search for life on Mars, through the work of companies such as Thales Alenia Space and Altec.
